We offer a straightforward and transparent fee structure, enabling families to plan ahead.
We are a family school for boys and girls, offering a sibling discount of 5% (in the main school only) on the second, and subsequent children’s fees.
The fees shown are per term, for entry in School Year 2025/2026. There are three terms per school year.

The fees above are for the Spring and Summer terms 2025/26. The tuition fees are inclusive of VAT which is effective from 1st January 2025. Lunch fees are exempt from VAT. The annual fee is split into 3 termly instalments for your convenience. Fees are subject to an annual review, which usually takes place in April. The new academic year’s fees will be published on this webpage during the Summer term.
*Please note that all fees in the main school are inclusive of lunches charged at £375 per term.

Scholarships and Bursaries
Scholarships
Scholarships are made annually to recognise excellence and outstanding performance in Academia, Sports, Performing Arts, Music and Art & Design.
These are awarded by the school based on merit, performance and attitude. There is no application process, an award is made at the discretion of the Head based on our internal annual assessments.
Bursaries
We may award bursaries where there is a financial need, for children from Year 1 upwards. Bursaries are awarded from one term through to a full year.

Additional information
When your child starts with us, you will be invoiced in advance for each term. Fees are paid termly by Direct Debit on and around 1st of the month. (Direct Debit Online Form)
The invoice you receive will cover the term’s fees.
All non-fee related items are purchased via our Cognita Connect parent app. This includes school trips, extra curricular activities and wrap around clubs.

International pupil fees
We regularly welcome international pupils from a variety of countries to join our school community
International families choose St Mary's Preparatory School because of our commitment to academic excellence, character development, global perspectives, and British values, as well as our excellent exam results and strong focus on wellbeing.
All students – British, EU and international – are charged the same fees, regardless of nationality or immigration status.
International pupils who receive an offer to study at St Mary's Preparatory School will be asked to accept their place by completing and returning an acceptance form and paying a deposit equal to one term’s fees.
The international deposit will be returned at the end of a student’s time at the school, providing appropriate notice has been given and all fees have been settled.
